Why an eBook?

This eBook replaces the paperback and is filled with the latest encouragements, uplifting true stories, photos, video links, and a little humor. And since it’s online and free, sharing it with others is easy.

How will we be remembered?

Will we be thought of as those allowing the windstorms of life to shipwreck our lives? Will adversity make us bitter and ineffectual in helping others? Will trials cause us to accuse God of evil or deny His existence altogether?

Or will we be remembered as those who broke out of our comfort zone and lived differently? Did we accept life’s adversities as tools of divine love? God lovingly uses tools to develop an intimate relationship with Jesus, marked by godly character and noble action. A life lived so that, upon death, even the undertaker will be sorry.

About the Author

Not breathing for over six minutes at birth, Paul Haigazian has a birth twin – adversity. The doctor contended Paul’s severe cerebral palsy and probable mental retardation warranted lifelong institutionalized care. However, three reasons made his future bright: (1) devoted parents, (2) a gracious God, and (3) an optimistic attitude. Paul maintains, “Adversities are inevitable, but misery is a choice.” Also, a successful person fulfills the purpose and assignment for which he is created. Out of his disability and the adversity of others, Paul encourages readers to joyfully persevere through tough times, always viewing life from a positive perspective. He believes there is a lesson in every trial, but often it takes an open mind and heart to accept each object lesson. Paul earned a Master of Arts in Psychology from Pepperdine University in 1983. He lives in California.
